Index Veteran TC (Tom) Talks Tech Issues, Index Growth & Highest Prices

Episode 43 · August 12th, 2018 · 55 mins 28 secs

About this Episode

First up, don't you just know it- we talked about the Index's technical issues. Failed deposits, fake buys, not being paid for sales....what does Tom make of the issues?

Next, we talk about the user base. How many users could we potentially have by the end of the year?

There's been a lot of talk about what the highest price a player could reach is...and that's exactly what we discussed. What happens when certain players reach £18/£19/£20? Will we see increased dividends? Or will order books allow greater liquidity in the top end players?

Next up we talk about what each league has to offer in terms of PB. What is Tom's favourite league to invest in?

Breakout players keep getting thrown around in index communities, but I asked Tom what you should look out for when it comes to breakout players. He has some great things to say on this topic!

We then talked about cheaper players, and what FI can do to make them more appealing. Does this even need to happen? Are the dividends at play more than large enough for some cheaper players?

Lastly, we were asked about whether or not scottish league players should be added to the index, and this actually divulged into a conversation about the cluttered nature of FI currently, with so many players seeing next to none, or no movement in terms of price.
